This article came from cnn.com. Basically, Microsoft wants to be in collaboration with Yahoo. After being turned down in May by Yahoo, Microsoft still wants a piece of the major search engine. Yahoo's shares went up even with CEO of Microsoft, Steve Ballmer, just speaking of what he wants to do. Ballmer is making these new remarks becase Jerry Yang is no longer a part of the Yahoo Corporation, so shareholders are hoping that there will be a realtionship between the two Fortune 500 companies in the near future.

I think it should be good. With America being in such a recession, this could help. If stocks are going up just based on the thought of a merge think about what could happen if it really happens
